Ideas for First Two Minutes

·         Four boys are playing football in the back garden.

·         One boy kicks the ball into the woods near the garden and goes to retrieve it.

·         The three other boys discuss about how their friends haven’t been in contact.

·         One boy calls another friend but no answer.

·         Another boy calls his mum, no answer.

·         The third boy asks where the boy who kicked the ball is.

·         All three boys walk over to the woods.

·         Boys see the ball retriever on the floor.

·         They call him and the boy gets up.

·         The boy picks up the ball and growls.

·         The three boys laugh.

·         The boy with the ball turns road and is a zombie.

·         After realising he’s a zombie the three human boys feel scared.

·         One of the three notices a figure in the alleyway.

·         The figure in the alleyway starts to approach them.

·         The zombie boy charges at one of the boys.

·         As soon as the zombie boy reaches the boy, the figure in the alleyway kills the zombie.

·         The figure introduces himself.

·         THE END

  1. I think this is a really good idea because woods can be quite sinister like that and the way you have them discuss about where the friend has gone is quite like foreshadowing what is to come in the film. However I don't think you should have the 'zombie' growl; maybe you should have him moan to make it more realistic?
