My Ideas for Film Outline

Rough Film Outline

·         Four boys are playing football outside in their back garden until one of them kicks the ball into the forest.

·         The other three then send him out to get the ball, before chatting about one of their girlfriends appearing distant.

·         They then decide to head into the forest to see where the other boy had gone to.

·         They then find him lying on the floor so they turn him over and he has bloodshot eyes and blood all over his face.

·         They try and escape before a hooded figure appears out of the darkness and shoots the zombie in the head.

·         They are then knocked unconscious and wake up in a dark, prison like environment.

·         They hooded man from the forest appears over them and explains that they are the only three that are immune to becoming a zombie so, he asks them to help him find a cure.

·         They then undergo numerous tests to help find the cure.

·         One of the boys then finds a document outlining the hooded man’s plans to use them to get the cure and save his wife but not anyone else, so they decide to make a run for it and escape in an abandoned car.

·         One of the boys receives a phone call from their girlfriend who is screaming for help.

·         The boys head make to their house and make makeshift weapons out of household items.

·         They quickly drive to the girlfriend’s location and discover her on the ground shooting off incoming zombies.]#

·         They clear away all the zombies with their weapons and then help carry the girlfriend into their car.

·         She then explains that the reason she hasn’t being seeing him was because she was a government agent sent in to create the cure.

·         They drive to her lab where she extracts the required DNA off of each of them and makes the cure.

·         They then send in the army to shoot the zombies with the cure.

·         They are all celebrating their predicted victory against the zombies, when the hooded man appears explaining how the government had taken his wife in zombie form and experimented on her, which ultimately led to her death.

·         He then tries to shoot the girlfriend so on of the boy’s jumps into the bullet and shoots him in the head.

·         They all try and save the boy but it’s too late.

·         The film ends with a clip of them a year later laying flowers on his grave in the new zombie free world.
