Things we know we need to change
- Add music in various scenes (football and wood scenes)
- Add in dialogue to establish character names
- Revoice some dialogue because of sound issues
- Not enough close ups on characters
Things we are happy with
- Organisation of the clips
- The continuity
- Keeping to the time limit
The editing is good but when does he go to fetch the ball? We don't see it.
ReplyDeleteErin
This is good and the cross-cutting between the football and the wood is good, although you have one cross fade in the wood when I don't see why because nothing much really changes. Your little brothers are cute! What does he spit out at the end, I couldn't see? And how is the zombie in the shed and in the wood?
ReplyDeleteA good idea and it looks like it wil be good in the end. Music will make a big difference. I agree that nobody goes to get the ball.
ReplyDeleteSteph
Like this although agree with comments above. looks cold!
ReplyDeleteHollie
Not far off being finished, where are yout titles and credits going?
ReplyDeleteSarah
Like this, looks good. Agree about not knowing boy has gone. Also think they talk too much about looking for him so drop one scene. John
ReplyDeleteIt looks good and yes it looks cold. Agree with John there needs to be something between them deciding not to look for the boy and then deciding to look for him as this happens next second. harry
ReplyDeleteEverything is good, the acting is ok, the football is not so ok. Good editing though and good make up.
ReplyDeleteRobert
I think the makeup is good too and it was good to use the boys as they are more in danger, where did you get them? Like the cut between kicking the ball and it hitting the boy on the head, clever.
ReplyDeleteJonas
Good! I like it! I like the cross cutting and the conversation scenes. Agree they change from not looking to looking very quickly. What is in the shed? Where is the other zombie? He can't be in the shed and in the wood?
ReplyDeleteRachel
I like it, know what rachel is saying about the zombie though.
ReplyDeleteMikey
It's good although i think when the boy with long hair becomes a zombie and we see the shot of him and the little boy there should be some zombie noises. in fact, i think there should be more zombie noises generally?
ReplyDeleteFarrell
Well done, this is going well. It's true about the boy and also the same conversation about finding him with nothing in between, but i like it, especially when they all turn round at the gun shot at the end.
ReplyDeleteCaitlin
Yes i think there should be zombie noises too. Good luck! Gemma
ReplyDeleteAgree with what everyone has said, Looks good but cold. Music?
ReplyDeleteWell done, lots of good things, agree there should be noises and in the wood when we cut from the boys looking to seeing the boy with the hair and the little boy maybe the little boy should be screaming and ther should be eating noises?
ReplyDeleteTina
Yup more noises!
ReplyDeleteLiam
Agree more zombie noises! Careful not to make it funny though.
ReplyDeletejake
Its ok if the zombie noises are funny, and more screaming is a good idea.
ReplyDeleteHarriet
boy doesnt leave and his friends find him really easily but apart from that its good. Its true that its weird there was something in the shed but i dont mind, there might be more than one zombie.
ReplyDeleteBilly
Everyone said everything! So ill just say good luck!
ReplyDeleteShannon
Thanks to everyone for your comments, they were really helpful. We had totally forgotten about adding the shot of me going into the woods and this has now been added in along with some more sound such as music, zombie noises and some extra dialogue to help with character establishment. To answer a few of your questions, We haven't finished whats happening in the shed yet but we have an idea planned, the boys were from our school and our titles are going on the shots of the two boys at the start and the title will be going in between the scene at the start and the football scene. Thanks again for your positive comments and advice, has really helped me and my group.
